Melissa was around 9 and Stephen around 11 when they both started spending their summers at Camp Mac. Even though they were some years a part, Stephen's younger brother was Melissa's age, and they were always at camp the same time Melissa was. They both went to camp during the summer until their teenage years. Of course, they grew up, went their separate ways, and probably thought they'd never see each other again. After Melissa decided to move back home from Auburn, fate brought her back to the camp. She had always wanted to go back and live on the camp and she did! She started working the summer camps. And wouldn't you know, she ran into Stephen there, who was also working at the camp. Stephen manages Camp Mac. The first thing Melissa told her friends after she moved back, was how cute Stephen was. ♥ Now, if that isn't fate, I just don't know what is.
