Nick & Jennifer got married at Southwind Plantations. Their ceremony and reception were both filled with lots of love and laughter. Nick & Jennifer met each other in college, but did not start dating until several years after graduating. I personally know these two people and am proud to call them my friends. I'm so happy they found one another. They're a perfect match!
This ring though! The most unique ring I've ever laid eyes on. Nick put it together all by himself!
Nick's ring has his fraternity, Pi Kappa Phi's symbol on it. I seriously adore these two rings.
They were both so sweet during their first look! We had to do a little retouching of Jen's make up after this, ha!!
Because, superhero shirts...
Oh the Clydesdale. There's a funny story behind this. If you were at the wedding, I'm sure you know all about it! A pony from the venue got loose earlier in the day, unbeknownst to us. When the bride and her father were coming down the walkway, the pony appeared! And it appeared in full charge!! All of the sudden the driver yelled "Get the pony!". I, of course thought he meant to capture an image of the beautiful pony frolicking in the pasture. No. He was yelling to tame the pony!! We're all just thankful my husband was there, in the right place at the right time! He ran up and stopped the pony while the driver and Clydesdale took another lap before stopping. The wedding party cheered. And of course now, my husband tells the story in much of a heroic manner. Jennifer told him he can tell the story as if he stopped the Clydesdale himself. Memories. :)
Thank you for letting me be a part of your beautiful day, Mr. & Mrs. Weir! I love you both!
